Danny came to me yesterday with a proposition: take a gander at ^halfliquid's Sycho Avatar -- HL, and "revamp it and make it more spiffy".

I was going to keep the same shape as the one Bobby made, but then I thought I could give him a bit of a sprite like angle, and chuck in some more detail. So that's what I did, working through it today. I owe ~st0ven's tutorials quite a bit, cause I'm new to the sprite business.

I'll probably end up remaking the other avatar with the angle from the front, same animation and all that too.

Danny, if you have any problems with it drop me a line and I'll see what I can do.

Very nice Tom, its good example of small well made pixelart animation :nod:

alho i would say that there is a lack in contrast.. some details get lost.. i have to focus my eyes until it hurts to see the details.

and yes Steve is wonderful, and his website is completely insane

Nice pixel skills showing through, the detail is pretty good I would like to see more contrast in the colors...Some things like the mouth are hard for me to see. :thumbsup:
