-- Marine Emote --
Fullview is a must. Well well well. What's this? Ryan's emote you say? You couldn't have got it done Tom! It's been so long! Well, it is done, and it's done til I'm frustrated but happy. This is a prize (an overdue one of over a year) for =animedevildog, who took out a small contest I held in a journal. He asked for a Marine Emote, and, after some careful consideration with him over aspects and such, here it is. Rundown: This is obviously set in a battle. Marine pops up from behind his cover and fires off a couple of rounds towards the enemy. He quickly ducks back down as opposing fire flies over his head and smacks into the sandbags. Knowing he needs to buy himself a little time, he picks up a grenade, peeks over the top, and pulls the pin "Hollywood style". He quickly lobs it over and crouches back down, with the grenade's explosion giving him enough time to grab his rifle and resume firing. Loop. Now, I understand that grenades are no longer thrown, they are shot out of a grenade launcher, but it's not as obvious as the classic Hollywood "lob and duck" method. I also know that bullets do not leave trails after every one of them. Again, they are there to enhance the point. Ryan, I really hope you enjoy this. All for you. If you want one with just the grenade, give me a bell. Avatar versions can be found here: Avatar -- shooting version Avatar -- full version As a final note, this is not intended to glorify the fields of battle. So don't jump down my neck for that. Enjoy. -Tom Daily DeviationGiven 2009-06-27Marine Emote by `budgieishere contains a number of great effects, each of which have pixelled and animated to a high standard. They combine together into one outstanding emoticon with a nice theme and a smooth animation loop (Featured by `Synfull) |
